No one in the parliament except Aitzaz Ahsan made sense. Khursheed, Nisar, Hashmi and especially diesel were painful to listen to. What they said was 10% to 20% true yet pro democrats swooned with emotion ke awwww a beautiful democracy is born. We should not be naive enough to believe that the Boys will ever let democracy be and there will be many more soft, softer and ultra soft coups but please dont be naive enough to believe that change will come of this parliament of all too familiar faces from the status quo. It took a crazy pathan and a mad cleric to get a very, seriously dumb prime minister to come to parliament more often and give a damn about rigging, both backed by other vested interests. Change is not going to come from within. The threat of another long march, the fear of protest and an uprising should always loom over this parliament, knowing what the pmln and ppp are capable of if you just let them do their work.
