No one is an island; no one goes at life alone. So let go of the notion that youre someone who takes pride in doing everything yourself, or that you dont need anyone because that’s just not true. The truth is that you probably dont have the ability to ask for help, but that doesnt change the fact that people arent helping you every day, despite what you may think. As the amount of commitments and responsibilities increases in our lives, so does the amount of support we are going to need to help us….. ….. and if you arent committed to very much, then you dont need much support – and that isnt a very powerful way to live. Life is meant to be collaborative. Were meant to be in relationships of all kinds. For some, their way of life necessitates more relationships, while for others, less; but the fact remains that no one is an island.
