The Malaysian Airliner is now missing for 5 days. We know it made - TopicsExpress

The Malaysian Airliner is now missing for 5 days. We know it made a left turn heading west while turning off the transponder and the avionics that transmits system data. Duh, what is west? Nothing but water between Malaysia and Somalia. The pilots are Muslims, Malaysia is Muslim and Somalia is Muslim. I still remember when an Israeli Airliner was hijacked and flown to Entebbe, Uganda in 1976. I talked to the Israeli Squadron Commander who led the rescue operation. It is very possible the 777 was hijacked and flown to Somalia or some other country. Turning off the transmitting avionics on a 777 indicates extreme sophistication. The transponder has at least triple redundant power. If a terrorist just wanted to blow up the jet and get 72 virgins, why turn off the trasmitters? As for the black box emergency locator transmitter, it cannot be turned off. We will continue to closely monitor the situation here at Gene McVay World Headquarters.
