No poll, but will there be a caucus to unite the movement? The exposure of the prevailing principle poor people can vote but only business people can nominate admittedly gave credibility to the staying strategy but holding the city ransom is costly. Now it looks like a new week will start with key issues unresolved: The forward process of negotiating political reform, leadership in the citizens movement, and whether to stay or to return another day. In the meantime, Carrie Lam has promised to try and break the deadlock. Lets hope Government is less dysfunctional than its intransigence makes it appear to be.
