No power at school today until after lunch is def glitchy for a baking intensive. We changed gears though and used the morning for review and demo of pasty dough and cookie crusts. After the break, this group rocked it out to put it mildly. What a tasting table! Baklava, Strawberry Shortcakes made with Baking Powder Biscuits, Cookies, Banana Bread, Hot Fudge Sundae Cake, Brownies 3 kinds of coconut whipped cream and much more, plus frostings prepped for cake day. What a group!! And we learned from Michele who does the pastries in Italy at a vegan restaurant, the difference between cantucci and biscotti!!
