No to slim, I get annoyed when people say admiringly to me, Waah, you so slim wan. I dont like this culture of glorifying thinness. It puts young girls under great pressure to be thin rather than healthy, starving themselves or buying slimming aids trying to achieve fantasy air-brushed media images. I post a lot about G being strong and healthy and happy. Because I know several teens with eating disorders. There is one girl who has been hospitalised for anorexia for a month. How about healthy instead of slim? Yes, there are people who are naturally slim, who have high metabolic rate. G is one of them. She literally eats quarter a lamb, chugs down lots of green proteins and has big bowlfuls of pasta with lots of butter or olive oil. As an active, growing 14 year old, she needs all that. Her focus is on staying healthy and being strong, never mind the waistline (she has a 25 inch waist). Unfortunately, Hollywood has come up with a new sizing. The Triple Zero, 23 inch waist.
