Nope, Brees has not completely lost his deep ball. He just needs some space to execute when he does it. I couldnt help but notice how much space he had in the pocket to step up for this one. This is very important because Brees relies on his footwork and technique to get the deep ball where it needs to be. Since he doesnt have the strongest arm - never did - technique is where he gets the power and accuracy combined. It is the reason I wanted the interior line improved. This one was right on the money, and to the rookie receiver with the small catch radius at that. Of course, Cooks had impeccable timing and quick hands here as well. 9-to-10 is going to be very special if they keep it up. I think he needs some more work with Morgan. Those two just werent clicking yesterday for whatever reason (Morgan missing a year and Brees having very limited time with him in training camp due to his injury may have contributed). #Brees #Saints #BrandinCooks #WHODAT #GeauxSaints #WhoDatNation
