We are in Big Springs Texas tonight at Sugars Bar. The last two nights have been a blast. Its a huge relief knowing even though painful I can still play the bass and I am with a little rehab I will be back to banging on a guitar In time for the acoustic west coast run in Jan-Feb. Anytime you add a key member of a band after a key member leaves there is always a little white knuckle time where you are figuring out how the dynamics will work and I have to say it feels like Pussy Wagon has been in the band for years. He blends in with us musically he fits our personality types . I for see him being scary good when he gets his bearings and has had more than two shows under his belt. There wasnt a single rehearsal and hes got its handled already. Since July it has been a complete and total beat down but it looks like we are coming out of the storm and heading back in to some good weather. Life is full of ups and downs. This low time wasnt nearly as bad with my beautiful princess by my side. She has kept my moral up. It wasnt easy loosing my lead player and brother as well as my left hand all in the same week. I am a very driven and optimistic person when it comes to my music and that has served me well. After tonight we will head to Denver for 10 days and hopefully heal up even more. With my boys close I should make a full recovery. Thanks to everyone who has continued to support us over the years. Normally this is where I would tell haters to eat a dick or something colorful but with my sweet women laying next to me holding my mangled hand on her chest cupped in her warm hands I just dont have the anger, spite or need to say anything negative. So thanks to you all. Have safe night and may what ever God you believe in bless us all. :)
