Normally this isnt the kind of thing I would share because of my great respect for free speech even when that speech is as disgustingly offensive as this. However, there is an exception that rule, and it applies here. When a private opera company or movie theater engages in the type of hateful speech that led to the slaughter of millions of innocent people I would make my opinion on the matter known to them, and Id try to get as many people as possible to boycott the show, but I wouldnt even consider trying to get the government to shut the show down. That goes against the constitutional principles that I strongly believe in, but when a taxpayer funded theater like the Met shows such a disgustingly hateful, bigoted & racist show that rule does not apply! YOUR tax dollars are being used to fund this vile, racist, anti-Semitic & dangerous piece of pro-terrorist propaganda, and that makes a damn big difference!!! Do you really think that the Metropolitan Opera Company would even consider showing such garbage if it were blatantly anti-Muslim instead of anti-Semitic? Do you think that the government -- local, state & federal -- wouldnt step in and try to stop it if they did?! If you do youre an idiot. Let the Met know what you think about this, and then sign the petition to let your representatives know that you do not want your tax dollars going to fund such bigoted, anti-Jewish and pro-terrorist propaganda!!!!!!
