Not new but hopefully its new to some or this at least inspires you to re-watch. This incredible documentary takes a look at the phenomenon called the overview effect. It is essentially the sense of awe and understanding that is felt when an individual no longer sees Earth from the surface but experiences it as an entire planet. This cognitive shift is something that just a select few have gone through and the film shares some of the fascinating stories.
