Not only does it appear that the trust responsible for operating Bletchley Park[1] have treated one of their volunteers Very Badly Indeed but they also seem hell bent on freezing the National Museum of Computing[2] out of the picture altogether by physically isolating the NMOC from the rest of the site with gates and barriers and removing highly relevant NMOC exhibits from its visitor tours. This sucks. I feel it would be entirely reasonable to ask the Bletchley Park trustees and management to give an explanation and/or justification of their position and I will be doing so using the contact details and a message form for enquiries are helpfully provided on the official Bletchley Park web site at bletchleypark.org.uk/content/contact.rhtm. You may feel like doing the same. In fact hopefully a lot of people will feel like doing the same... [1] Wartime code breaking, Alan Turing, Collosus, Enigma, Tommy Flowers, spiritual home of the British computer/IT industry, etc, etc [2] Amongst other things home of lovingly created working recreations of the Collosus and Tunny machines which were at the heart of much of Bletchleys work during the war...
