Not sure how old my sister thinks I am, but I said that we had computers when I was in High School, (TRS-80, PDP11, Franklins and Apples, right Anne Schnedl, Amador High School was well wired in the early 80s), and I never would have gotten my leg up in programming if THOSE COMPUTERS werent in Mr. Jacobsons class room, and I didnt go in early and stay late to program in Pascal and Basic on those Machines. My sister is under this fiction that computers didnt exist in High School, and she Never heard of an Apple Eliza, which was a Mac before their were Macs, I remember the day they ordered the Eliza and its 17K price, looking online 17K 1980 dollars would be close to 100K in todays dollars, I doubt few school districts today could afford to pay 100,000 dollars for a computer system in the classroom.
