Not to scare anyone but Bumper is not doing well. This has happened before, but not like this. Ive been on the floor with her since 7pm. Denis and I have been doing everything we know how to do to get her comfortable. She ate dinner fine. But then was panting heavily. Denis would keep taking her out but nothing would happen. I thought she was hot so we brought her by the AC and put the fan on. I stayed on the floor with her and gave massage hoping she would calm down. Got her to take benedryl. She spit out tramadol. She started barking again. Im worried she is in pain. Denis takes her back out where she is quiet. Seems she is only relaxed outside so we got our lawn chairs and headlamps and stayed out with her. I was worried we would be making an ER visit and dreading the thought of losing her in Maine and having to leave her behind. I got her to take 100mg of neurontin, just in case she is having pain. I dont want her suffering. She gets panty like this usually when her stomach is upset, but nothing is happening? Maybe her stomach is upset but the tylan powder is backing her up? Anyway, outside she finally fell asleep after 15min. Thank you lord! But..we cant leave her outside. So brought her back upstairs to where we are sleeping. I had been cooling her blanket with ice packs and had the AC on 65º with a fan as well for her. She fell right back asleep. Praying she just has some stomach upset and she sleeps through the night so we can see how she is in the morning and dont have to rush her to ER :( its SO stressful when our animals dont feel well, if only they could talk.
