Not trying to be a food fascist but this shits killing us while industrialized food is simultaneously destroying our planet. I would consider corporate monopolies way more fascist but I seriously wish there wasnt so much toxic crap to avoid and capitalist imperialized destruction down to the cellular level weve been taught to tolerate in all of us. Hunger is a problem we can solve but poverty is a weapon. Food is chemical warfare. Im sick of it and people are dying more than ever from carcinogenic illness. Feeling hopeless? Sick of it too? Fight back with so much self love that everyone you know will want to do the same. Salvage, store, grow, share, trade, harvest, teach, learn, put in more than you take. Vote w yr dollars. Go to local farmers and markets while you can. Talk to your neighbors and your families about food. Share recipes and specialties. Go to potlucks and have dinners with each other instead of going out. Ask for help if yr tired. Eat if yr hungry! Reach out to those you trust if you feel lonely or distressed. Its a lot of work teaching, feeding, and helping others and making sustainable decisions but thats better than war & hunger ravaging our communities and our loved ones, no? I have learned so many amazing ways to practice mindful eating habits and feel lucky to be a part of an amazing community of people that know whats up so I understand that many of you already acknowledge corporate influence in our current dietary spectra. I understand that access to land and food and water is becoming more privatized, but we are all so capable of ending unsustainable practices on an individual, communal, and global level. Together. This is my perpetual self love struggle through the radical acceptance that I can only control myself and my actions. Im choosing love and life and light. Simplicity, patience, and compassion. Namaste.
