On August 23rd, 2014 at 5:00pm The Jennefit 3 will take place at the Greenfields Pub and Eatery in Barrhaven, with proceeds going to The Jenn Berrigan Memorial Fund. This special evening will include live music from local bands, a silent auction, raffle prizes, an excellent menu catered specifically for this event, DJ, dancing and SO much more! The Jenn Berrigan Memorial Fund was created to honor our dear friend Jenn Berrigan, who passed away from a rare form of cervical cancer at the very young age of 30. Jenn came to Fertile Future as a client with cervical cancer with an impending full hysterectomy. As she became more involved in the fertilization preservation process, she became an advocate for Fertile Future. Jenn spread her positive outlook through public speaking engagements, gave hope to others going through the process and created awareness for Fertile Future every where she went. Sadly, in March of 2012, she succumbed to her cancer. This memorial fund, created in her name, continues her legacy of helping others and assists other women whom are having financial difficulties with the costly treatments as she did. For the past 3 years, we have had the pleasure of hosting this successful event in honor of our loving friend Jennifer Berrigan, to raise funds for the Jenn Berrigan Memorial Fund (JBMF) as well as for other causes that were near and dear to her heart. The JBMF offers a financial reward to female cancer patient(s) undergoing fertility treatment. The number of recipients able to be helped is based on the revenue generated from The Jennefit. The funds raised from the silent auction, ticket sales, monetary donations and numerous other revenue streams are used to help support these women and the cause. Jenn’s giving spirit and her need to help others was an inspiration to us all. The Jennefit, in support of The Jenn Berrigan Memorial Fund, allows for her loving spirit and generous nature to continue on well after her passing. We are asking for your help to make this the most successful Jennefit to date, by surpassing our fundraising goal of $11,000! We are currently collecting merchandise, gift certificate(s) and any sort of donation(s) for our silent auction and door prizes and your company name would be displayed on the gift you’ve provided. We are also offering Gold, Silver and Bronze level sponsorships in which your name would be prominently displayed and announced in our media blitz.
