Notice that only the Democrats (or the people arguing FOR the minimum wage; they MIGHT not be Democrats XD) interrupt the other people speaking. Milton Friedman and Walter Williams wait patiently for their turns, and when they speak, they are simply correct. What they say is correct and backed up by empirical evidence. When the others speak, they use meaningless platitudes and grand statements of intent, but they cannot PROVE that minimum wage helps the poor of our country. As Walter Williams points out, the INTENT of a law does not matter. If you truly believe that some law you enact is helping people, that does not help the people that are harmed by it. It does not matter that you BELIEVED in the law; it failed. It was a bad law. End of story. As Milton says in the video, "Sincerity is a much over-rated virtue in our society."
