Nov. 14-15 2013 Kentucky Agricultural Summit Marriott-Louisville East, 1903 Embassy Square Blvd, Louisville: The theme for this year’s summit is Farming – Stewardship of Our Resources. The event will kick off Thursday at 5 p.m. with a reception honoring the Leopold Conservation Award Finalists, then an awards dinner at 7 p.m. where the winner will be announced. The summit continues Friday (7:30 a.m.) with keynote address from Dave White, former chief of the Natural Resources Conservation Service, and a panel discussion on what stewardship means to Kentucky agriculture.
