November has been an incredible month so far. Started with a great hit with The Frost Septet in Miami, from which went directly to the airport to fly to St. Petersburg, Russia for a week long tour with The Western Jazz Quartet. Im about to fly back to Miami to celebrate Justina Shandlers 21st birthday, work with the The Stamps String Quartet on an arrangement behind one of her new songs and a movement of my own string quartet, and interview my heroes Dean Shelly Berg, Dr. John Daversa, Dr. Frank Cooper, and Dr. Lansing McLoskey for my upcoming feature length documentary (The Artist Collective Project). Bradley Michael flying down for a week to film. A week after this I am ecstatic to be flying back to Michigan to perform with The Western Jazz Quartet and Joe Lovano and to conduct more interviews for the film. Then 5 days in Cleveland to spend some much needed time with family (and more interviews). Somewhere in there will be squeezed in recordings session with The Frost Septet and my own trio.
