Now I know Ive said this before but Im new to this group so some of you may not realize that I was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota. However, my Momma was born in Johnson City, Tennessee. So I didnt grow up close to my kin but every Sunday night at 5:00 p.m., my Momma and I talked to Grandma on the phone. When it was my turn, Id grab the phone and Id hear this strong southern accent, Heidi, this is your Grandmaw Honey, How are you? Ive been praying for you and your Momma and your brothers. I sure do miss you Honey I sure do wish I could hear that voice again. As I got older, when Id talk to her, the first sentence out of her mouth was, Now, Heidi honey, are you living for the Lord or not? Good memories...
