Now as the dust has settled on the fabulous weekend, Id like to take care of some business. Jack Flory and Guy Wells managed the checking account and the financial side of things, the tasting at The Bluff Banquet and Conference Center helped all of us to select the menu, Wilma Porter Tait and Sue Holland were pretty adamant about the DJ. They were definitely looking out for your music and dancing interests. But, back in 2010 when The Class of 64 turns 64, was our theme, Marylin (Parker) and Terry Hall, Diana (Finkbeiner) and Tom Bobbett, Bonnie (Gysin) and Jim Crame, Mike Bugai, John Gorsky and Barb Stephenson all helped and played significant rolls in our picnic at Ideal Park. The next year we met at the Wyoming Senior Center under the planning of co-chairs Diana Finkbeiner Bobbett and John John M Gorsky. That year Ruth McCowan Vanderhill made a quilt which we made a little money on. The next year at the lodge at PInery Park several people helped to fill the pot by donating handmade items which were silently auctioned. I for sure remember that Ray Toppen donated a beautiful framed photograph, Jerry Homminga donated one (or more) of his paintings. Diana Fink Bobbett had made some home decor items, Sue Small Gibson made a cute little pumpkin-guy out of a bowling ball. There were other items. But now my memory fails me, so those of you who remember other donated items and who might have made them please post the information below. (And, of course, yet others purchased the donated items.) Having done this we were able to have money to put down on the venue and secure the date, while keeping the price of our tickets to a bare minimum. AND, best of all, as a class, we were able to donate approximately $560 to the Golden G scholarship fund. Love and a grateful heart to all who came, to those who wanted to, but couldnt, and especially to all who worked at any point in the period since 2010...you are a GREAT, WONderful, kind, loving group of friends and classmates. The spouses and guests all rock, too! The tour of the middle school, reminded us that we ARE the fighting Wolverines. Many thanks to Terry Hall for arranging it. And, now, I have piles to sort and clear, so we can eat on the table again. :))) Love to all, Rand and Pat
