“Now before the feast of the Passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the World, he loved them unto the end”. (John 13 vs 1). That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional Today. Today’s Focal Scripture reveals that Jesus loved His disciples, and He loved them unto the end. It wasn’t a short-lived Love. It wasn’t a seasonal Love. He loved them until the end. Judas hadn’t yet betrayed him; Peter hadn’t denied him yet; inspite of the wrongs they were yet to do, Scriptures still affirmed that He loved them till the end. He loved even when He was on the cross. Friend, hear the Word of Lord: God loves you unconditionally, and His Love for you will continue until the end. He doesn’t love you because you are perfect; He loves you despite your imperfection. He doesn’t love because of what you have done or yet to do, He loves them even before He died on the cross. Legalism says God will love us if we change but the gospel says God will change us because He loves us. Perhaps, because we tend to hold to ideas about God that reflect our own perspectives and fears, more than God’s revelation; we reduce God to our dimensions, ascribing to Him our own petty and conditional Love. God’s Love will pick you up and take you to the Peak. God’s Love will package you for the Palace. God’s Love will birth sudden supernatural surprises for you. Our doubts do not destroy God’s Love, nor does our Faith create it. It originates in the very nature of God. He is Love, and it flows to us through our union with His beloved son. People may fail or abandon you but God will NEVER leave or forsake you. Embrace the Love of God. Live in its consciousness. The more you know Jesus, the deeper His Love you will experience. Do you believe that despite all you have done and being through; Jesus loves you? Pray with me, “Lord, I embrace your Love”...amen. Have a Blessed Day!
