Now for something even weirder. Malaysian Flight 370 was a state of the art Boeing 777, a marvel of modern engineering. It has redundancies stacked on top of redundancies, so even if something fails, something else can take its place so the plane can maintain structural and mechanical integrity. The transponder was apparently turned off, but the engines were built by Rolls Royce, who installed their own transponders inside the 90,000ib block to monitor performance. If an engine blew at 40,000 feet, Rolls Royce would know about it almost thirty seconds later. And Rolls Royce says that the Mh370 flew an extra 5 hours after air controls last contact with it, because they maintained contact with the engines. The Boeing 777 has 45,000ibs of fuel, with an effective range of nearly 6000 nautical miles, thats more than around 7,000 miles. It has an average cruising mach .84, and thats around 634 miles per hour. If the plane flew another 5 hours, it would have traveled another 3200 miles in any direction from where it was last reported. The Malaysian government is disputing this report, but right now theyre the last ones I trust. American crash investigators believe the plane went down in the Indian ocean. A sudden loss of cabin pressure could have rendered the flight crew and passengers unconscious, but that doesnt explain why the transponder was turned off, or why the plane turned so wildly out of its flight path to begin with. A hijacking would explain both of those things, but not why it flew into the middle of a godforsaken stretch of nothing, in the middle of nowhere, nor does it explain why none of the passengers used their inflight phones or connectivity to call for help, or send messages to loved ones. Pilot error could provide an explanation for all these things, if he was especially incompetent and the on-board systems were malfunctioning, but if the plane was in the air for another five hours, why wouldnt the pilots simply send a distress signal when it became clear there was a problem. The only solution that works is also completely insane. A giant murder suicide. One pilot kills or disables the other two, turns off the transponder, turns the plane around and flies it straight into the abyss of the Indian ocean. The passengers have no clue theres a problem until the last possible moment.
