Now for the last 6 months to 1 year I have been using this flexible nutrition approach only thanks to one of my friends Jonathon Potter. Guy taught me a lot and gave me some great advice along with opening my eyes to how my nutrition was hampering the full potential of my training. Its all about your lifestyle and how we all can adapt to suit. No foods should be cut out because the next fitness guru told you, as stated the bulk of the nutrition if filled with highly nutritious foods - meat, fruit/veg and fats but then not every day we will have the time to get that master meal so dont s**t yourself if you miss out and have to settle for a sandwich. I inform my clients, when you find that certain foods give you digestive issues or make you feel tired, lethargic and sluggish then its time to reduce your intake or even cut them out....as over the years we may have over done it on the processed food and never had a time of getting quality meat, veg all packed with those all important vitamins and minerals which give us the boost of energy and benefit the hormonal balance. Its a great read and just highlights the importance of sustainability for me. Paleo hardcore dieters may want to look away.... :) the base is of good food then we will fill in relation to our current lifestyle. Our tastebuds have developed, we are not cavemen. We should stop have the fundamental movements but in terms of nutrition, well we can learn to let go a bit. (Specific numbers are important to individuals, fibre is also important so dont think you will get away with eating pop tarts all day) #TeamHOT #becomeawesome Anything to add Jonny? Then would be great.
