Now lets go on: A marriage abroad is generally recognized by the United States or its foreign policy position is diminished vis a vis not honoring Article 6 Clause 2 treaties and laws (see Supremacy and treaty clause). A civil ceremony within the country can be used to marry in many countries and UHDR Article 16 is the “Supreme law of the land”. The United States is a Hague Treaty Agreement country. Seems obvious.
