Now that I am over being so scared for Wally. He is doing better. I have had time to think about the aggravation of getting him to a vet after hours. Called his regular vet at Greensfork Animal Hospital, got a recording that stated they are not taking emergency calls at this time. Recommended a vet in Anderson, over 45 minutes away! I called Dr. Kurtz here in Hagerstown and she met me at the office right away. I am really disappointed in Dr. Osborn at GAH. Even though I switched from Dr. Kurtz several years ago, I have to give her kudos for taking care of my fur baby, possibly saving his life! I dont understand not having someone available for emergency care....what kind of animal hospital is that??? Thanks for letting me rant. Thankful Wallace is gonna be ok!
