Now that June is over and E3 has come and gone, we are now working - TopicsExpress

Now that June is over and E3 has come and gone, we are now working on several things to bring new life into POLICE 1013. We had great discussions after E3 this year and have found some new partnerships that we are currently pursuing. These partnerships are based on bringing new technology to the developers to help make Police1013 easier and cheaper to make. One of our biggest tasks thus far has been the need to build a procedural city scape. The City in the game is MASSIVE and so we needed to find a company who could bring the best experts and software to the table to help in this massive undertaking. Our discussions have been fantastic with one company in particular who have really jumped in the deep end with us on this and are helping us find the best route forward. We see this awesome company as an integral part of the games growth and so we are working out the best way to partner with them for the best outcome. So far so good and hopefully soon I can publish more about what type of partnership were working on. JULY - What do we have in store? July will be really busy. At the moment the business development team, is speaking with Investors and different companies who can all benefit from a partnership in this game. Our budget has jumped up because of our final decision to go PC, PS4 and XBox1 at the same time. We were always expecting to go this way but our initial thoughts were to go PC first and then work on the console version. With great partnerships knocking on our door, it was easy to start concentrating on bigger investors for a better release outcome. While the business developers continue working on bringing funds into the company, the Creative developers are very hard at work building assets for the game. Currently we have several smaller groups within the main group. Some are working on Characters, others on Vehicles, others on Buildings etc. You need to remember that our team of 20+ developers are not being paid. They are professionals that are doing this because they believe in the project. So to have such a dedicated, amazing team like this is a dream come true. In the coming week we will decide whether or not to continue with Kickstarter. Kickstarter I believe is going to be great for seed funding to start paying the 20+ people we currently have involved. It will also help with bringing on other investors, which means a lot more staff. Were having more meetings about this in the coming week. Our Games Development document (All 58 pages of it) is now complete and will be going out to our investors for discussion. Things are certainly looking positive now that our momentum is at a peek and weve even started negotiating other publishing deals (Outside of Steam - which was green-lit a month ago). For those that continue to show support we thank you very much. We love the fact that there are so many people already starting to build POLICE 1013 Clans online. Our forum is also going crazy with us reaching our 1000th signed up member a few weeks ago. All we ask is that you keep your faith in the project alive as we are definitely doing this. Weve also seen our fair share of Trolls as well in the last month. We of course had issues over at LCPDFR with people attempting to cause issues with the old He said, She said problem. None of which was factual so luckily that was stopped, thanks to the admins there. Weve also had some looney tune who was banned from our forum for making many threats against members and developers claiming he was banned because of where he came from? Strange fellow that one and someone who needs help. All in all though we are heading in all the right directions. The game will be made and is already getting the support of very big businesss from around the World. Mostly, June was a month of great support on the forum and on steam as well as over the net in general. You guys have been awesome in helping us get known. We will always welcome criticism but will always delete abusive behavior etc so please respect the fact that a lot of kids do follow these forums and posts and we dont need trolls ruining the experience for everyone. We love you guys and you are all part of this journey with us. I look forward to sharing more information at the end of July and in between. Police 1013, is a go. Stay safe out there!
