Now that all my family has been told, I will now share with my Facebook family and friends that dont know! On December 17th I was told by Dr. Scott Sommers of S. C. Oncology on Stoneridge Drive Columbia, S. C. that I have terminal lung cancer! I have whats called LARGE CELL ADNO/CARCINOMA and in stage 4, I was given 6 months to live with no treatments! I have since found out that the cancer is not only in the upper quadrine of my right lung but has spread to my lymph nodes and the spinal column and on into the bone marrow of my spine. I can only have a total of 15 radiation treatments, anymore than that will sever the spinal cord. I have had the first weeks worth of radiation treatments and Friday the doctor had to put me on oxygen 24/7 because my oxygen levels dropped way too low and they thought I had died Friday. Im losing my hair very rapidly its coming out by the handfuls, but Im not vain so it doesnt matter. I start the radiation treatments on my lung and lymph nodes either today or tomorrow depending on how I feel when I get there. I got the latest test results last week and found out the cancer had not spread to the throat and brain, so now I know I can try to have chemotherapy treatments doctor said one chemo treatment every three weeks. And now gives me 6-15 months to live, but I am still in stage 4. All I ask from anyone is prayers, love, and honesty for my family and I. If I have ever offended anyone Im truly sorry and ask for forgiveness. To those who have trust passed against me I forgive you. To everyone out there please love one another. Life too short to hate!
