Now that my beer orientated trip is over its time for this bloke to knuckle down. This week Ill be tightening up my privacy settings and control the things that others can share and see on my Facebook. For those of you I spammed with beer updates and Untappd notifications over the past few days, Im not sorry ;) Ill be posting a full wrap up of the trip over on The Good Beer Guys page this week for those interested on the highlights! For those that dont know, I will be starting a new career in July and my professional image will be very important. To all my mates, swearing or tagging in unacceptable posts etc wont be tolerated. Ill still love yas but I cant allow it on social media and youll find yourselves deleted and actually have to contact me in the real world :) To the team at Star Hotels and Murray Bradley, I am extremely grateful that you all believed in me and gave me the opportunity to manage Southside cellars in such a short amount of time and enabled me to enjoy an exciting career change. I loved the challenge of managing the newest store in Gympie (at the time) and taking it to the next level with craft beer and making it number 1 in wine sales..Ive enjoyed the industry and believe Ive done a good job at educating our regulars with sound product knowledge. Thanks to Dallas for being a good, hard working offsider, couldnt have done it without ya! Cheers to everyone else Ive worked with thats helped me out too, appreciate it. Im sure to catch up with most people face to face over the coming weeks before I finish up, and also plan on having some thank you/ good bye drinks closer to my finish date, once it can be confirmed. One last thing, I believe we are still looking for a store manager with good retail skills, some liquor knowledge and being physically fit would be a plus as its a fast paced environment with lots of lifting.
