Nukes make me think about the Cold War. The Russians were scared of us and we were scared of the Russians. So much that we both wanted to nuke each others countries into oblivion. In some ways neither side ever let go of the fear that plagued them. I can tell you America has definitely not gotten over the Cold War. The Red Scare is still going on in some places here. Namely the more backwards places that still think Communism is evil and Russians are still Soviets out to get us. Of course we were out to get them too so can we really claim to be the good guys when we ourselves would have vaporized millions Russians? Of course we had to go kick the hornets nest in Ukraine and put our countries on bad terms again but its obvious who the bad guys are this time. Sadly its the US. Cooperating with murderous Nazis to control Oil is a whole new low for America... Things are morally grim right now... And Maybe Russia has its ugly spots but right now they are the good guys who tried to protect the Ukrainians. Crimea is out of the reach of the Nazis under Putin while the rest of Ukraine has erupted into civil war against Svoboda and the Right Sektor(The two main Nazi groups) who have burned innocent people alive and allowed Joe Bidens son to seize control over the largest Oil company in Ukraine. Its like a Mini-Cold war over there.
