Number 4 is irritating. I was wondering recently who took the best supporting role Oscar from DiCaprio for his greatest screen performance, as Arnie in Whats Eating Gilbert Grape. Instead it went to Tommy Lee Jones in The Fugitive. Who spent the entire film just being Tommy Lee Jones. THAT was DiCaprios Oscar. Im not really on Team Leo when it comes to his Oscars snubs. The guy is a good actor and has performed some great roles, but generally he has not been good enough to deserve an Oscar (certainly over his competition in those years). The Aviator might have won him one him one against weak opposition that year, but Basketball Diaries and other lauded performances just werent superior to his peers. His best performance (as a lead) was likely Blood Diamond, but he wasnt going to take the award from Forrest Whittaker in Last King of Scotland. Django was great, but again, you arent prising that award away from Christophe Waltz...
