Numbers 35: 30-34 30 Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die. 31 Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death. 32 And ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest. 33 So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it. 34 Defile not therefore the land which ye shall inhabit, wherein I dwell: for I the LORD dwell among the children of Israel. I saw a post from my brother, I had previously read my devotion....and was going to share the above reading and got side tracked a little...I had prayed and asked the Holy Spirit what He would have me share with you all...and it was the above reading.... When I saw the post of my brother I knew I needed to get right to it! If we as a nation & people had not moved away from most ways & laws of the Old days, we seem to think its ok to take matters into our hands, create customs & laws (traditions) fitting for us & our situations), when it comes to how things are handled we WOULD NOT BE SO OUT OF CONTROL IN MANY REGARDS! MOST TRADITIONS ARE NOT SOUND AND FOUNDED UPON THE WORD OF GOD...THEY JUST ARE, ACCORDING TO WHAT HAS BEEN DONE GENERATION AFTER GENERATION, WHICH ARE GENERATIONAL CURSES!!!! There is a way that SEEMTH RIGHT UNTO MAN, BUT THE END THERE OF IS DEATH! We should not be upholding WRONG in any way....WE SHOULD NOT be rejoicing in particular instances....YES, THIS LAND IS AND HAS BEEN POLLUTED FOR A LONG TIME NOW...The SINS thereof is MORE EVIDENT NOW...BUT WE HONESTLY HAVE NOT SEEN ANYTHING YET! BAD (CORRUPT) BLOOD CAN NOT CHANGE (CLEANSE) THE SYSTEM, THE CLEANSING COMES THROUGH JESUS CHRIST! We as a NATION, A WHOLE must come to TRUE REPENTANCE, fall on our knees, CRY OUT unto the SAVIOR OF THIS WORLD, AND DO AS GOD IS CALLING US TO DO! It starts with you, with me, with all of us!
