The main reason why we have initiated to write this on your wall is to make it absolutely clear of the following: We are an established 100% black owned distribution company, our retail partners include all Major retailers thus Musica (Clicks Group), Reliable, Dakota, CNA (Edcon Group), Top CD and many more, we would like to place on record that Cassper Nyovest Tsholofelo album has sold in excess of over 20 000 units in fact 24 663 to be exact (sell thru) if we might add. Our sales of Tsholofelo album have been verified and certified by RISA (Recording Industry of South Africa) The initial sales were effective 13 August 2014, On 7th November 2014 the above mentioned units were certified. Our concern is that you chose to use your twitter page to question the integrity of Casspers GOLD status sales, thus also aiming directly at us his distribution company. It was our prerogative to choose not to have media splash and create a big buzz regarding presenting his GOLD plaque. Furthermore Cassper Nyovest is 100% in emphasizing that via his Family Tree Label he is independent. He owns his own master (IP) we are just rendering our distribution services, likewise with Kalawa Jazzmee via Digital Platform. He Cassper is in control of his business, unlike other artists who are signed and controlled by major labels. We also know what your up to date sales of your Levels album are, it will be demeaning to expose such using this platform. Please note we are not getting involved in your current squabbles with Cassper Nyovest. We respect both of you as artists and also accorlade achievers but please abstain from certain battles.
