Youth Exchange in Slovenia “Holistic Youth, a Holistic Europe” July 20-28, 2013 | Slovenia Funded by: Youth in Action Programme Action 3.1 The Youth Exchange “Holistic Youth, a holistic Europe” will bring together young people from various cultures to learn together a global approach for personal development of young people. The focus of the project is to explore development and well-being of young people, by fostering various elements of well-being of an individual’s life such as mental health, culture, sports, active citizenship, economic involvement, nutrition and a healthy attitude towards nature. The project lasts for 7 days (arrival and departure day excluded) and each day we will put our attention to one area of importance by using non-formal learning methodologies (role exercise, interactive discussions, group work, reflection etc.). All participants are expected to contribute actively and positively to the programme and the group. The aim of the project is to enable every participant to develop personally, through his/her active involvement in the group. The youth exchange will gather around 35 youth from Romania, Slovenia, Germany, France, Poland, Bulgaria. The youth exchange is hosted by the Animavita Logo in Slovenia. The European Intercultural Forum e. V. is entitled to send a group from Germany to this event. Conditions As the project is partially financed by the Youth in Action Programme of the European Commission, board and accommodation are fully covered by the organisers. Moreover 70% of the travelling expenses will be reimbursed by the organisers upon presentation of the travel documents and boarding tags. Administrative fees: 24 EUR Applicants To participate in this project, you have to be legally registered as living in Germany and aged 18-23. No former experiences are required; this project is opened to ALL! Participants aged 23-25 may also apply, under the condition that they have not participated in such a youth exchange before.
