O God, who resists d proud, & givs grace 2 d humble: grant me thy virtue of true humility, where of Your Only-begotten son showed in Himself a pattern 4 ur faithful; dat I may neva by my pride provoke ur anga, bt rather by my meekness receive thy riches of ur grace....Oh God !!!, I am far too often influenced by wot others think of me. I am alwez pretending 2 b either richer or smarter or nicer dan I really am. Pls prevent me 4rm trying 2 attract attention. Don’t let me gloat ova praise on one hand or b discouraged by criticism on d oda. Nor let me waste tym weaving imaginary situations in whch the most heroic, charming, witty person present is myself. Show me how 2 b humble of hrt, lyk u. Pls giv I, my family, my friends and even my enemies d humility dt realizes its ignorance, Admits its mistakes, recognizes its need, welcomes advice, Accepts rebuke. Help us always to praise rather than to criticize, To sympathize rather than to discourage, to build rather than to destroy, And to think of people at their best rather than at their worst.
