OAH Hearing update: It is amazing to me when difficult tests of character reveal where true loyalties lie in times of uncomfortable circumstances. I am extremely blessed to have strong and dedicated professionals and friends ready and willing to see justice and Davids rights protected. I am so very sad to see others who cant find that same dedication and advocacy for the patient and client and choose not to defend the rights of the defenseless; Special Education, and Diabetic students. For those of you who are still willing to support and defend: Youre invited to attend the Open to the public OAH hearing: Student vs Sutter County Superintendent of Schools and Yuba City Unified, on February 3 2014 at --1:30pm--continuing the 4, 5 and 6th at 9am-5pm as needed at Yuba City Unified School District. Please note first time start. School Districts in California have offered significant monetary settlements to settle denials of FAPE for denying students necessary services such as communication, and appropriate health services. Districts spend 44% of their budget on legal costs. This parent is asking the District to comply and implement already signed negotiated agreements and to stop Districts retaliation for filing compliance complaints, and to stop abuse of special education students. Come support your clients and students at this precedence setting case. Failures by CDE to monitor and enforce IDEA and 504 is severely draining budgets and taxpayers. Its your money, and our kids they are wasting.
