I am somewhere between totally disgusted and thoroughly put-out. Here we are on the eve of an election day and NOWHERE can I find a simple listing of the local or state ballot issues for tomorrow. Nowhere can I locate a sample ballot. I look on the websites for all three local television stations and the local newspapers. I understand that early voting has been open for the past 2 weeks, but as I have an hour daily commute (each direction - I wrack up a mere 130 miles on my car each and every work day), I find myself arriving home AFTER the polling locations have closed. So much for our news media providing useful information. I guess that only the result of any given election are important. Providing good information BEFORE an election is simply the brain dead longings someone who actually wishing to be an informed voter. Our news media has gone out of their way to ensure that we all become low information voters (1). (1) Term coined by Rush Limbaugh. We must at least give credit where credit is due.
