Mack Moore CHARLESTON — Mack Earl “Sambo” Moore, age 62, retired Head Start teacher, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford. Funeral services were 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18., at New Town Missionary Baptist Church in Charleston, where he was a member, with interment following in New Town Cemetery. Clark-Williams Funeral Home had charge of arrangements. Dennis Smith GORE SPRINGS — Dennis Earl Smith, 61, (formerly of Cascilla), died Wednesday, Jan. 15, at his home. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, at Cascilla Baptist Church with interment following in New Smith Cemetery in Cascilla. Pryor Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements. Lena Davis TIPPO — Lena Scallions Davis, age 80, homemaker, died Thursday, Jan. 16, at her home. Funeral services were 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, at Tippo United Methodist Church, where she was a member, with interment following in the church cemetery. Womble Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
