OCJH PTSA Student Leadership Committee is doing our annual service project, Giving Tree for Teens. This is a wonderful, opportunity to help local youth who are in real need. Last year, we were able to help more than 120 teens. We are collecting NEW gifts and items for teens in crisis and foster care. Youth who are placed in foster care during the later part of the year are not on any lists to receive Christmas gifts, during a time in their lives when they are most in need. All donations will go to our local community through the Utah Foster Care Foundation. Some donation suggestions: I-tunes cards, board or card games, sports equipment, hoodies, trendy socks, make-up, cologne or perfume, art or craft projects and supplies, video games, school supplies, shoes, hair accessories, hair products, curling or flat irons, gloves, scarves, hats, jewelry, DVDs, room décor, posters, local sports team items, ball caps, batteries, accessories, cool T-shirts, gift cards, cash, etc. Students can bring them in anytime. There will be a donation box in the office until December 11th. Cristie Wood is willing to come by and pick up any donations. This is such a great opportunity for our teens to be serve their peers who are in need! Thank you for your support!
