OFFICE ASSISTANT JOBS:MINISTRY OF LANDS Office Assistant function entails providing general office cleanliness and messengerial services such as dispatching mails and files plus carrying out any other general duties as may be assigned by the supervisor. Job Description An officer at this level will be reporting to the Human Resource and Administration Officer and will be deployed in the County to carry out the following duties and responsibilities: provide sanitary and cleaning services; assist in office arrangement; prepare and serving tea; assist in packing, unpacking items; assist in shifting, lifting and removing fixing items; report on damages in area of deployment; assist in dismantling, eliminating, destroying undesirable items; opening and closing offices at the start and end of business; and deliver mails/letters and other documents; facilitate in workshops and seminars; and provide out any other messengerial services. Job Specifications For appointment to this grade, a candidate must: (i) be in possession of Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KSCE) D+ or equivalent qualification from the KNEC; (ii) have excellent communication skills in both English and Kiswahili; and (iii) be flexible and be able to take instructions.
