OFFICE OF THE CHIEF EDUCATION OFFICER UDHAMPUR Sub:- Temporary appointment of Teachers on Academic Arrangement basis for the year 2014-15 of District Udhampur. Ref. :- Govt. Order No. 482- Edu. of 2014 Dated :- 02-07-2014 & Director School Education, Jammus No:DSEJ/NG/Tr/7818-27 dated 04-07-2014 NOTIFICATION In pursuance of Govt. Order No. 482 Edu of 2014 dated 02-07-2014, applications are invited from the eligible candidates from the concerned village where the post of teacher is available in District Udhampur for Temp appointment of teacher on academic arrangement for the session 2014-15, till the posts are filled by the Department/ Govt. The applications in this regard be deposited in the office of the undersigned. The merit panel will be prepared at village level where the post is available and if the eligible candidate is not available from the said village then eligible candidate can be drawn from concerned Panchayat and if the candidate is not available from the concerned Panchayat and then the eligible candidates can be drawn from the concerned Zone having required qualification for the post and preference will be given to the candidates having higher qualifications and those having passed M.Ed/ B.Ed subject to the following terms and conditions for Temp appointment as teacher on academic arrangement basis. 1. That the candidate should be permanent resident of J&K state. 2. That the candidate is qualified for the post of teacher as per prescribed rules and preference will be given to the candidates having higher qualification and those having passed B.Ed / M Ed. 3. That the monthly remuneration of teachers appointed on temporary (academic arrangement basis) shall not exceed Rs. 3000/- (Three thousand rupees per month only) 4. That the candidate is within age limit required under rules as on first January of the year in which the academic arrangement is made 5. That the candidate will be allowed to join provided the post of teacher is vacant. 6. That the candidate shall execute an agreement with the concerned DDO that he/ she have no claim or right for the appointment on permanent basis and there will be no commitment of the state govt. in this behalf. The academic arrangement of the candidate shall automatically ceases or stand cancelled on completion of the academic session or as and when the post is filled up on regular basis by the Service Selection Board which ever is earlier. 7. That the candidate will give an undertaking to the fact that he / she will not insist for regularization / extension / continuation of his/her services on any ground what so ever and will ensure that during engagement the candidate have to avoid by Govt.. Service conduct rules and as per terms and conditions of engagement provision laid down by the department from time to time. 8. That the Academic Arrangement will be made on the posts against the Direct Recruitment Quota Vacancies in the Department and on the selection of a candidate by the Service Selection Board, the academic arrangement will cease. 9. That after receipt of applications from the eligible candidates, the undersigned will prepare a Merit list on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in the Academic Qualification, however weightage will also be given to higher qualification acquired by the candidate. 10. That the undersigned thereafter will prepare the final selection list of the candidates equal to the number of direct recruitment vacancies and accordingly adjust the candidates on these vacancies in the District 11. That the merit list prepared so far shall be valid for One Academic Session only 12. That the a waiting list of candidate will be maintained and in case an engaged candidate (Teacher) leave the department during the academic session then the next candidate in the merit list will be considered for academic arrangement against the vacancy accrued. The waiting list shall be valid for one academic session only. 13. That the applicants will submit their applications on the prescribed format along with following self attested certificates in the office of undersigned within in 07 days from the date of publication of this notification in newspaper. 1. Date of Birth Certificate. 2. Permanent Resident Certificate. 3. Qualification certificates. 4.
