OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE: After Saturday, August 24, 2013, residents of the Capital District will never view Pro-Wrestling events the same. After months of planning and developing, a new Pro-wrestling endeavor based upon tradition and professionalism, known simply as ‘The Dynasty,’ looks to make its long awaited debut in Cobleskill, NY with its event: “Diamonds are Forever”. With the recent success of other local Independent wrestling companies such as Shane Alden’s World of Hurt Wrestling in Whitehall, NY and 787 Pro-Wrestling in Troy, NY, ‘The Dynasty’ looks to carve its own fan base in Western NY. Dynasty President and owner, Chris Envy (of reality TV fame), a pro-wrestler who has spent the last 11-years wrestling all over the Northeast, has been planning to run his own wrestling events since his short-lived XWA venture in 2007 alongside long-time friend and rival, Tom Ugly. Tom Ugly has joined Chris Envy on this endeavor as a creative writer and Lead Official for the events. Newcomers to the Management team are Keith Bruso, Dynasty investor and co-owner, and Brian Cady of ESPN radio fame. Together, these four members form ‘The Dynasty’ and are looking to create a Dynasty of their own in Professional Wrestling. With the cooperation of Stella Urbano McKenna, owner of The Maranatha Fitness Center, and in association with Ultimate Wrestling, ‘The Dynasty’ will make its much anticipated debut on August 24, 2013 in Cobleskill, NY at 1461 Rt 7, Richmondville, NY. The event will kick off at 3:00PM with face painting and monster truck rides in the facility’s parking lot. From 3:30-5:00PM, there will be a Meet & Greet with several of ‘The Dynasty’s’ top names including WWE Hall of Famer “Mr. USA” Tony Atlas, former WWE, TNA and MMA Superstar “The Dominator” Bobby Lashley, Ring of Honor’s TV Champion Matt Taven, TNA original’s The S.A.T. (The Spanish Announce Team), from ABC’s Wife Swap “THE” Chris Envy, and more. At 5:00PM, the doors will open to VIP ticket-holders, as well as any handicapped ticket-holders. At 5:30PM, the doors will be open to the general admission ticket-holders. The event’s wrestling portion of the event will begin at 5:50PM with two non-advertised dark matches. The Main attraction will then begin at 6:15PM and will run until roughly 8:30PM. During intermission, there will be a second Meet & Greet with additional ‘Dynasty’ wrestlers and talents, as well as concessions, merchandise, raffles, door prizes, a poster table for children, and more.
