GunPedia to release an Android client for mobile users GunPedia development headquarters Manager Robert Wolf reports that GunPedia, the National FireArm Wiki service of South Africa, has been working on an official Android client. Based on the picture, it has user-friendly interface that gives users quick access to Posts, as well as all of the other functions that are available for the web client. Launched in January 2013 (officially released in March 2013) , the WiKi site has more than 80 thousand users posting/commenting thousands of “activities” per day, and is adding 10 thousand new users per month. The GunPedia Founders opened its platform for apps last year in June and now has over 800 applications but this is the first time the company is launching its own. Riding on the momentum of its success, GunPedia will definitely attract more users to the service with the introduction of its official client. Numbers skyrocketed for other Wiki Platforms with the launch of their official clients so it’s not surprising the same happens to GunPedia.
