OH MY GOSH! I recently shared a prsentation from Dr. James Dobson about marriage & it says just the opposite. Think about it. We are to live as Christ did. Hmm. Do ya think he was happy when he was spat upon, called a blasphemer, whipped, and nailed to a cross? It is SO NOT about our happiness. Its about our SALVATION & only those who endure till the end shall be saved. If youre in it for YOUR happiness, when hard times come, you will not endure! Those who suffer with Christ & die to self daily will reign with him. That does not sound like happiness to me! What about those who leave their whole world behind for the missionary life, even becoming martyrs for their cause? Did they do that to please themselves bc pleasing themselves is actually what pleases God? I think not! Self is flesh, which is of the world, which is at enmity with God! Thank you for posting this Sister Brenda & exposing what some of us already knew about these preachers!
