OK back with the venetians issue again. First draft came out more like a mega turkish trousers with about 2/3 of the cloth on the inside of the quarter waist,. This looked particularly catastrophic on the front (sorry forgot to take pictures basting started coming undone while tweeking as I use old fashioned soft basting thread and do it by hand). Want to move more off the cloth to the side to get the pattern pieces better balanced so was thinking of curving the side seam below pocket height. I have also looked at the venetians in POF (p.87) for some inspiration. All to do with keeping the side seams actually at the sides, waist is 42, front waist is 25 and back waist is 17. Any thoughts - Daniel Craig, Louise Pass, Ninya Mikhaila (using TT pattern as source as well) and anyone else?
