OK, got another winner. This is for a 6015 (essentially a PVS-14 without manual brightness control) that we have been using as a test mule for our Gen. 2+ project. Tube in it is a MELZ Gen. 2+ tube. Pretty nice and clean. Resolution 60 lp/mm, signal to noise 21, etc. For those of you with just enough education to be dangerous - yes the photoresponse is 600. Does this suck? Well, before you say yes take this into account. A gen. 3 tube requires an ion barrier. This where is the term filmed comes from. The photoresponse on a gen 3 tube is measured before the ion barrier and the ion barrier cuts in the P/R about in HALF. So to compare this tube to a gen. 3, take the gen. 3s PR and cut it in HALF. Now youre comparing apples and apples. OK, back to the unit. The image is a tiny bit out of round. Weve been using the tube long enough that I can tell you it is NOT going to air (which is night vision talk for dying). Anyhow, its still got over a year on the tube warranty fo youre good there. Unit has been around the shop so it has some scratches, etc but nothing you wont do the first time you throw it in the back of your truck. Comes with surplus green bag we had laying around, head mount, j arm, weapon mount, eyecup, shuttered eyeguard (not pictured), manual, and since Im such a nice guy one of our screw on minus blue filters which means you can use it in your MRAP! Itll also decrease blooming in urban environments. Price is $1500 OBO delivered to your door in CONUS. Will need an end user paper signed on this one which basically is just you agreeing that you wont export it. Please note: This is cross-posted to one other group on FACEBOOK and to the Adams Industries Facebook Page. As such it is subject to prior sale. I will post a notification ASAP should that happen.
