OK heres my view on Malky Mackays situation and football in general: The man is a bigot and hes been found out and completely exposed for the idiot that he is and in the process totally screwed over by a much cleverer man in Vincent Tan. Its embarrassing to watch his woe is me act on Sky. I hope he never works in football again. In fact football could do with checking the phones of most of its so called professionals. You just have to look at Fifa and their choice of hosts for the next two world cups (Russia and Qatar) to see that there is very little that is sporting about this sport. Its a sham and just like bankers, journalists, politicians and famous entertainers have been scrutinised and convicted for serious misdemeanours in recent years the time will come for footballers and I fear that Mackays behaviour will be a drop in the ocean once all the revelations come out. I love football but for some reason I cant get excited about this season. Footballs soul is diminishing and like all big business its only interested in its bottom line. I fear rugby will go the same way. I hope not. Right, Im going back to bed.
