OK, tons o thank yous here- but I just really want to say, WHAT an amazing night at the gig last night! Thanks very much to John Pritchard for his awesome bass playing once again; and to Michael Philip Reedfor bringing his amazing guitar playing and voice to the mix. To our friends Joel Anderson, Janice Goodrich, Craig, and Clark Mires, Maddy ( from Vancouver!) and the other diners who were in last night, your support means everything! AND a big thank you to the Cavanaghs from the UK Lizzie Cavanagh and her folks Kathryn Cavanagh and Alan!--… THANK you all for being out there and all you did to get there! Each of you gave so much of yourselves last night with your incredible positive spirits and listening --yet you had a great time interacting too. I LOVE that kind of balance.. and you each had it. Wow! What a gift to get to play to those who just understand that. You guys are heroes. And special thanks to Bistro Sixty staff, staying bit later and to Mark Leisman and Arturo Juarez, owners, for letting music room go on a bit longer too as we all visited after the music ended. You all had a very long day yourselves, but you kept the flow going. You ALL ROCK, in my book.( Cavanaghs.. 11 hrs on a plane, cab to hotel, checked in, threw bags down, grabbed cab to Bistro Sixty, (cab driver was like… UH, I have no idea where 5987 El Cajon Blvd is .. (Wha????) But somehow they helped him find it . Sheeesh! They finally got there just before 9pm when we usually stop the music .. so again many thanks to Mark and Arturo and staff who welcomed them and made sure they had a wonderful time. Love you all so much. I had one of those magical nights.. thank you. (sorry bout the lighting in photos. It was SO hot last night.. and they create such heat! But also, the real reason is I need it on my papers to read set list and words,... my old eyes, and brain, aint what they used to be !
