OMG... I was on a ferry in Tonga, out in the middle of the ocean just like this, when the waters were just like this... it was the scariest thing. I had to hang on to the pipes so that I would not be knocked around the boat. The ferry I was on, was much smaller than this huge boat. Oh yeah, the ferry would be going straight up, at a 90 degree angle, and all of a sudden it would drop and be headed straight down, at a 90 degree angle. We were tossed around like that for over 4 hours.... it was quite an adventure.
