OMG! So I just did my good deed of the day folks, in an older post I have talked about people calling me for a appointment at the Eagle Landing Dental Center in the Shopping Centre near Galaxy Theatres and Walmart. Well a confused and rather entertaining man just called what he thought was a dentist office. I gave this man clarity and maybe helped rid the world one less stupid person...lol..So this man calls me the convo went like this…. Me: ”Hello this is Shannon.” Man: “Hello, is this the Eagle Landing Dental place?” (I sigh and take a deep breathe) “No Sir, this is not the Dentist, this is my cell phone number.” Man:”Ohhhh, What, but I don’t understand it says right here, 702-8249." I let out a laugh, He then asked me what was so funny. I said, “Sir you have called the address for the Dental Clinic, please check again.” He continued, “What I don’t understand”…..”It says right here.” Me: “Where? Where are you reading this?” Man: “In the phone book.” Me: “Ohh really, hmmm...” Man: Ohh, ohh wait I see now, that’s so stupid.” “Why do they do that, confuse people like that?” Me: I don’t know.” He laughed... “Does this happen to you alot?” Me: “Yes, it does.” Man: “It must get pretty annoying, eh?” I let out a louder laugh. “Yes, it is very annoying.” He then proceeded to talk and me and I’m just too nice to hang up, so he asked me. “How do I find out the phone number?’ I say: “Ummm well, you can find it on the internet.” Man: “Ohh, well my net is down atm so…I can’t look it up.” Me: “Well I so happen to be sitting in front of my computer ill look it up for you.” Man:” Ohh thank-you!” I told him to hold on while I looked it up… Me: “OK, yes it says the address is......702-8249 Eagle Landing Parkway, Chilliwack, BC….” “Annnnd the phone number is….. (604) 392-1212” Man: “Omg thank-you so much, I’m sorry to bother you, well I will be one less person to call you.” I laughed again and shook my head Me: “Mhm, yes take care and have a nice day.” I hang up.
