OMG, if you live in the Atlanta area, you might want to check this out. Say youve been wanting to add a pet to your family, but you secretly have been craving a particular breed, and you want it to be a purebred. If you know anything about rescue, youre going to be embarrassed and ashamed to buy from a breeder. Tomorrow at 9:00 Am the Cherokee County Animal Shelter is holding an adoption event for over 350 dogs. Boston Terriers, shitzus, poms, all breeds and ages. LOTS of puppies. $100 adoption fee, and that includes the vetting to date, I think some have been spayed and neutered!! I saw them on the news tonite, and there are some beautiful dogs there. Confiscated from an abusive breeder, youd probably pay some $500 for each of these dogs if that breeder had not been shut down. Myself, I love a mutt, but some people have particular breed favorites and if youre that person, tomorrow could be your day to get your choice of breed of pet for $100, youd be adopting and helping the rescue, and best of all, you wont be buying from a breeder!!!!
